CRISIS
What to do if I'm in a crisis for my mental health?
If you are having suicidal feelings and thoughts, do call
your regular doctor, 988, and/or go to your local hospital’s
emergency department.
Alternatively, you may call the local 24hr
Regional Crisis Mobile Team: 844-772-4724 (Range area, Northern St Louis County). This will give you the chance to speak to someone immediately.
There is also the MN Human Services Crisis Text Line which offers texted based suicide prevention services. Text MN to 741741 and you will be connected to a counselor who can help.
The National Suicide Prevention Number is now 988, or 800-273-8255.
The Mental Health Minnesota Warmline provides a peer-to-peer approach to mental health recovery, support and wellness. Calls are answered by a team of professionally trained Certified Peer Specialists, who have first hand experience living with a mental health condition. The Warmline provides a safe, anonymous and confidential environment to connect with people who are here to listen and help. Open Monday-Saturday, 5:00 to 10 :00 p.m. Call 877-404-3190, or text “Support” to 85511. Wellness in the Woods also runs a warmline, you can call or text to 844-739-6369 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m.
